Who is behind ARGEA

ARGEA is a treatment programme built around an enzyme we develop ourselves. NGA-8000 comes from our own biotech laboratory; treatment is given by licensed physicians at partner clinics. More than 100 patients have been treated with NGA-8000 through the programme and its partner physicians. It brings together our own biotech laboratory, treating physicians and a small coordinating team, with one job: to make arginine deprivation available to individual patients safely, honestly and with full records.

Director

Treating physicians

Oncologists and internists at partner clinics

There is no single treating physician. Each patient is assigned to physicians according to tumour type, language and the clinic where treatment takes place; a leukaemia patient and a patient with pancreatic cancer are not seen by the same specialist. What they have in common: a licence to practise, specialist training in oncology or internal medicine, and experience with the enzyme. They review eligibility, lead the disclosure consultation, administer the therapy and sign every review. They are named to you in writing before consent, together with their qualifications and licence numbers.

Patient coordination

Care team

Nursing and coordination staff at the partner clinic handle your weekly visits, your results and your questions between visits. You get one contact number that is answered by a person who knows your case.

Laboratory, clinics, diagnostics

Our laboratoryNGA-8000 is developed and produced in our own biotech laboratory, which works on amino-acid depletion enzymes, stem-cell growth factors and extracellular vesicles. The laboratory supplies the enzyme, its preclinical data and the documentation behind every patient observation on this site. Laboratory documentation is available to clinicians on request.
Partner clinicsLicensed medical facilities in Georgia, the United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong, with oncology and internal medicine staff, laboratory access and imaging, where the therapy is administered under physician supervision. Named to each patient in writing after the eligibility review.
DiagnosticsASS1 and OTC immunohistochemistry on existing tumour tissue, arginine measurement, tumour markers, circulating tumour cell analysis and liver elastography where indicated, through accredited laboratories.

How we work

Limits firstWe tell you what is not proven before we tell you what is promising. In writing, in the same words, before you pay anything.
No promisesNo response rates, no cure claims, no testimonials. Observations are labelled as observations.
Your oncologist stays in chargeWe add to a treatment plan; we do not replace it. We do not treat against a considered medical opinion without a second one.
Stop when it is not workingReviews at weeks 8, 16 and 24 exist to end treatment that is not helping. You pay for blocks started, never for the full course up front.
Full recordsEvery value measured goes to you and your oncologist. The programme keeps complete records so that what we learn from each patient is not lost.
